Since the beginning of time, humans have shared a special bond with animals. Modern research clearly suggests an inexplicable connection at a subconscious level, which goes beyond rational understanding. Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a relatively new technique which takes this instinctual knowing and converts it into a form of therapy that helps both children and adults with cognitive, behavioral or psychological problems - problems that modern medicine is still struggling to find answers for. Dr. Paws provides an intimate look at this innovative and unconventional approach.
