Event Description : Gallery Sree Arts presents "L'amour" an exhibition of artworks by Ankur Rana. 

“L,amour” Rising in love
A very common connotation associated with love is ‘falling in love’. But it is amazing paradox that when we ‘fall’ in love we actually ‘rise’ in life. The pristine power of love changes the world around you and redefines your otherwise mundane existence. Its 
power is comparable to a divine healing touch, a revival of the soul. As humans we are flawed and we contain ourselves in shackles. But when love takes over, the shackles unbind all by it, the spirit is emancipated.
A woman’s power can transform a man’s life for the better. With a woman’s love a man is motivated to be a better man, to transform his life, to go that extra mile and to chase those ambitions which he otherwise wouldn’t.  In the same way a woman is only complete when she is filled with true love showered by her man, her soul mate. That is the power of love and that is the inspiration of the following series of works which is my art concept, “Rising in Love”. 
In my present series of works, the man and woman in my artworks are in love. The elements and objects are expressing Romanticism. The expressions and jesters on face of woman and man are actually can depict that they are falling, or actually rising in love. Both are is in love hangover.  I am trying to capture or freeze that beautiful and rare feeling which comes in everybody’s life for a very short span of time when they are in love. 
The another series of paintings on the same concept titled “ Chariots of Love” showing “ancient aircraft flying and spreading heart shaped elements”, is again carrying that old but beautiful message, “Make Love Not War”. 
I have shown ancient aircrafts with a theme of romanticism. When man invented aircrafts to fly in the air and he spread love through this discovery by reducing travel time to reach his loved ones. It was the time when he discovered flying with machines and never used them to destroy humanity through bombarding on innocent people for the sake of war.
