Event Description : Sonica Kapur Design presents "WomenWeave" 
An exhibition of exclusive and luxurious hand woven textiles created with a contemporary aesthetic using centuries old weaves. Come indulge your senses with a feast of sumptuous silk sarees, designer handwoven textiles and one of a kind bagh prints.

WomenWeave, founded by Sally Holkar is based by the river Narmada in Maheshwar,Madhya Pradesh. The organization employs and empowers over 200 women artisans. Each product sold by WomenWeave comes with the signature of the artisan who hand make the textiles. Today they sell hand woven hand loom textiles to leading domestic designers and international brands across 29 countries.
