Event Description : Tapaswini Nav Sadhna presents "Dance at First Sight" a celebration of dance and Love.

A show which promises to be different from any Valentine’s Day celebration that you have

ever witnessed. There won’t be a candle light dinner, nor will there be exorbitantly priced 

gifts and most importantly there will be a complete absence of puffy declarations of love. 

What it does promise to do is envelop you in an atmosphere of love in all its forms. The one’s which make little.

The show provides a platform to young dancers and choreographers to present their unique 

and varying perspectives of love. This year each act will also be a take on some of the famous love stories of all time including Romeo & Juliet, Adam & Eve, Sita’s tale, etc. The show also envisions to raise awareness about Tapaswini Nav Sadhna, an NGO which works towards the upliftment of the underprivileged and the differently abled.

The show will feature renowned artists and companies like Meher Malik(Banjara School of

Belly Dance), Sadhya(Mayurbhanj Chhau), Sanchita Sharma, Meghna Bhardwaj, Nitisha Nanda among others who have performed and taught internationally and have been on popular dance television shows such as Just Dance, Dance India Dance, India’s Got Talent and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’.

The show will also bring together different dance genres such as Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Contemporary and Belly Dance, showcasing various aspects of love and relationships.
