Event Description : "My Dream Poppies" a solo exhibition of Paintings by Vijay Kiyawat.
In his 7th solo show "My Dream Poppies", Delhi based Watercolorist Vijay Kiyawat displays his recent watercolors portraying poppy flowers and poppy pods in dreamy and interesting compositions. In MY DREAM GARDEN series, monument of some country mingles with imaginary poppy gardens in colorful and abstract manner, creating beautiful mystery. THE MEDITATION series portrays agitation of mind at one end (before) and tranquility at another (after). The surrealistic transition is from bottom to top or sideways depicted thru poppy flowers and poppy pods.
Vijay (67) is an IIT Kharagpur mechanical engineer with over 40 years of corporate experience at CEO levels. He took to painting after his retirement and has already held 6 successful solo shows in Delhi, Singapore, and Mumbai.
