Event Description : Hindustani Classical Vocal Recital by Rama Sundar Ranganathan as part of HCL Concert Series. 

Accompanied on tabla by Vinod Lele and harmonium by Vinay Mishra

Smt. Rama Sundar Ranganathan was initiated into classical music by her mother Prema Raghavachari. After learning Carnatic music for about seven years she switched to Hindustani Classical music. She was guided and mentored by the renowned vocalist the Late Smt Shanti Sharma. She is presently obtaining her taleem from Pt. Tejpal Singh ji , the foremost disciple of Ustad Amir Khan sahab. She is learning the intricacies and nuances of the Indore Gharana which is known for its meditative style. Rama is an AIR artiste and has performed in programmes such as the birth centenary celebrations of Ustad Amir Khan Sahab, represented India in the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Festival and many more.

About HCL Concert Series: Started in 1998 it provides a platform to upcoming young Indian classical artists to express their talent.Also, as patrons of Indian culture and heritage, we have tried to nurture Indian Classical Music and Performing Arts by means of the HCL Concert Series.
