Event Description : Delhi Karavan presents The Walk "Ek Adhura Khwaab " Story of the 3rd City of Delhi -Tughalaqabad.

Delhi Karavan ki peshkash "Ek Adhura Sheher".

"Kyun aaj bhi viraaan hai ye sheher....Kyun aaj bhi raato'n ko siskiyaan bharta hai ye sheher...Kiski muaafi ka talabghaar hai ye sheher''....Ek Sultaan jiska adhura khwaab bankar reh gaya ye Sheher...Wo Sheher jahaan aaj bhi waqt ruka hua hai...Chaliye waqt ke daman mai chhupe huye raaz ko khangaalen..."

Built in the 14th century by Ghazi Malik also called Ghiya-ud-din Tughlaq, it’s believed to have been cursed by a Sufi mystic due to a squabble between him and the ruler. The Sufi mystic NizamuddinAuliya is said to have cursed the fort to a life of emptiness and said if anyone were to occupy it would be herdsmen. Spookily, the Fort was occupied for only 6 years between 1321 to 1327 and then abandoned.....
