Event Description : "Kathakar - International Storytellers Festival" in collaboration with Nivesh, an NGO which conceptualised the Annual Travelling Literature Festival, Ghummakkad Narain - in the year 2010 The festival will showcase national and international story tellers from different regions of the world and will feature stories from histories, epics, social themes, folktales, tales from animal kingdoms and much more.
Participating story tellers will be : National - Villupattu (Tamil Nadu), Baithak ni Bhavai (Gujarat), Khongjom Parva (Manipur)
International - Folk Tales from Europe, India and Africa by Emily Parish (U.K.); Stories from Silk Route by Sarah Rundle (U.K.); African folk tales by Godfrey Duncan (TUUP, Africa)
