Event Description : The Heritage School presents "Re-imagining Schools" a talk by Dr. Dennis Littky.
The Heritage School, presents a special dialogue titled ‘Re-imagining Schools’, with Dr. Dennis Littky, , Founder Big Picture Learning Schools, a network of over 100 schools across US, Europe and Australia.
Existing schools are ill-equipped to meet the growing demands of the 21st century workplaces. The Heritage School is hoping to begin a dialogue on the much needed reform in pedagogy and the approach towards educating children.
The evening will have Dr. Dennis Littky engaging in a dialogue about deeper learning and will discuss his work with Big Picture Schools. The Big Picture Schools are renowned across the world and have been hailed by President Obama as an exemplar for real and hands on learning in the U.S. through this dialogue, the internationally renowned scholar known for his extensive work in secondary education spanning over 40 years, will talk about his radical school model and share how educators world over are riding the changing tides of learning and knowledge dissemination.
