Shakespearewallah(1965), is an original screenplay based on the lives of the Kendall family and their troupe of actors in their travelling theatre company “Shakespearana”. The film presents the changing face of India, post-Independence, as the old is replaced by the new, and the theater by Bollywood. This film will be introduced by Sanjana Kapoor, granddaughter of the Kendalls.
