Event Description : Pahar presents "Askot-Arakot Abhiyan 2014" An audiovisual presentation.

The Askot-Arakot Abhiyan is a research trip organised by Pahar once in ten years. The aim of the trip is to know more about the mountains, its villages and their culture. Issues of forests, decentralisation, women’s education, environment and wildlife protection, youth migration ecological imbalance are raised through these trips. The talk will address these 
issues based on their recent trip and to compare the changes observed every 10 years, the first trip was organised in 1974.
