Event Description : "Diversity and Strength – Photographs of Women in India" an exhibition of Photographs by Nicolaus Schmidt from Germany.

Taken in 2011 and 2013, Nicolaus Schmidt’s photographs reflect among others, the situation of women, caught between tradition, religion and the modern age.

Collaboration : Ankur Society for Alternatives in Education, New Delhi; HAQ Centre for Child Rights, New Delhi; Azad Foundation, New Delhi; Dr. A.V. Baliga Memorial Trust, New Delhi; Terre des Hommes Germany – India Programme, Pune; and Heinrich Boell Foundation, New Delhi.
