Event Description : VSK Baithak with Manjiri Asanare.

Artiste Brief : Manjiri Asnare Kelkar even at a relatively young age is widely acclaimed both as a eminent vocalist of current generation and as a torch bearer of orthodox Jaipur Atrauli Gayaki. Blessed with a sonorous voice that can traverse through two octaves, Manjiri recitals are noted for their pristine Gayaki, their engaging melodiousness and there ability to hold Rasiks totally enthralled without recourse to any melodrama or gimmicks. Listening to her one is transported to a bygone era of grace and graciousness – and at another level it connects to the deepest recess of the soul. 

Manjiri Asanare will be accompanied by Vinay Mishra on Harmonium and Vinod Lele on Tabla.
