Celebration of collaborations at the intersection of design, social innovation, culture, technology, art and enterprise.
The UnBox Festival returns with thought-provoking panel discussions, captivating performances, culinary explorations roll-up-your-sleeves workshops and master classes.
As a platform for inspiration, dialogue, collaboration and co-creation, the festival brings together disruptive projects and practices across disciplines, with the intent of creating new collaborative ventures between practitioners. UnBox features prominent design thinkers like John Thackara (Doors of Perception), Anab Jain (Superflux) and Professor Jon Rogers (University of Dundee) as well as projects such as Storycities (Kahani Designworks), FoodLABS (featuring Chef Gresham Fernandes) and Medicine Corner (BLOT!).
UnBox also reveals the debut presentation of the European Media Arts Festival (EMAF) - a
pioneering festival that progresses the fields of new media and experimental film. Based out of Osnabrück, Germany, this presentation builds on relationships set forth by the ARThinkSouthAsia (ATSA) arts management programme, which is presented by the Goethe-Institut, British Council and Khoj International Artists' Association.
