Event Description : Music Concert by Adi & Suhail (Acoustic Set) as part of HCL Concert Series.
Adi and Suhail are one of the freshest alternative fusion acts on the block. Having been a part of a number of musical setups together and individually, their musical aesthetic is rooted in simple yet powerful songwriting. The dynamic chemistry of the duo transcends the boundaries of predictability with its experimental and ever-evolving sonic footprint.
They have been turning heads and making their presence felt on the independent music scene in India, with their songs like Qalandar, Laage Re and Zindagi. They were featured on Coke Studio@MTV Season 3, and BBC Asia Beats. The duo recently released their debut album "Culture Code Landscape" to great reviews and reception across India.
About HCL Concert Series : Started in 1998 it provides a platform to upcoming young Indian classical artists to express their talent.Also, as patrons of Indian culture and heritage, we have tried to nurture Indian Classical Music and Performing Arts by means of the HCL Concert Series. It is a humble effort in rekindling the interest of today’s generation in classical music and rare art forms, which are slowly fading away into oblivion.‘HCL Concert Series’ was started with the idea of identifying young and promising artists and giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent in vocal, instrumental and dance forms.
