Event Description : IGNCA Film Circle presents "Ek - Thi Gulab" film screening. 

The documentary traces the journey of legendary artist Gulab Bai, who was perhaps the first female actress to join the male-dominated Nautanki . A self-trained artist, from a humble farmer family of Balpora, was an adept actress,gifted with a sweet voice.She was honored with Padma Shri and Sangeet natak Akademi Award, among other awards in recognition of her significant work.
