Event Description : PSBT presents "The Buddh" film screening.

The story of the Indian sage who attained enlightenment as he sat beneatha fig tree two-and-a-half millennia ago. With original animation woven throughout, the film draws upon paintings and sculptures across two millennia as well as scenes in India today that echo the Buddha’s world of long ago. The testimony of contemporary Buddhists, including Pulitzer Prize-winning poet WS Merwin and H.H.Dalai Lama, provide insight into the ancient narrative.
