Theme/ Inspiration behind the exhibition :
At the outset we would like to introduce ourselves. Padum Madhubani is an organization committed towards development, continuation and preservation of Madhubani Painting. We along with renowned artists have committed ourselves not just to bring back glory to this ancient art but also, and more importantly, to the artists. At Padum Madhubani our purpose is to attract many fellow artists to come back from oblivion and revitalize their career in this field again. We wish to dedicate ourselves to restore and widely popularize Madhubani Painting at National & International level and bring these artists to the forefront.

Our exhibition theme- “Ancient Lines, Current Times” takes you to the journey that Madhubani Painting has travelled through eons. It celebrates few of those artists who for more than three generations now have dedicated their life and passion to keep oblivion away from the most ancient community art form in the world. Very few know about the concept and discipline that makes Madhubani Paintings an artistic heaven. They are as ancient as the Ramayana and have ever since braced changes through eons retaining its timeless beauty.
