Event Description : The Himalayan Club presents "Hidden Ladakh" Illustrated talk by Viraf Mehta, mountain adventurer and anthropologist.

Having made over 30 trips to Ladakh over the last 20 years in all seasons, in search of clues to its unknown pre-Buddhist and prehistoric past, Viraf shares details of his consistent explorations. He shares his discovery of previously un-described, unpublished rock art sites dating back to the 2nd millennium BC, and talks about his extensive travel in Ladakh, often in remote border areas.
