Event Description : IHC Music Club presents Listen, Share, Discuss the nuances of music. This month "Indian Music Intonation Workshop" with Ashish Dha, composer, sound designer, musician. Lec-Dem about the physics principles behind the tuning system of Indian classical music, its relations with the Western system and the natural harmonic series. Of value to anyone who wants to understand what musical notes are, how music works, and why certain notes sound better than others when played together. It will also demystify the legendary '22 shrutis' of Hindustani sangeet.
