Event Description : Ehsaas Foundation presents "Dance of The Desert" by the team of world music Sarangi Exponent – Kamal Sabri.

Brief of the Programme :
Dance of the Desert is a musical journey....from the Desert of India to the Desert of Middle East, performed by the team of world music Sarangi Exponent – Kamal Sabri. Dance of the Desert is a unique project in the process of establishes Sarangi as a world music instrument. The first part is the presentation of Music in its unique flavour though Sarangi.

The second half of the programme will start with Shayari by Sandeep Silas ‘deep’ to the accompaniment of Sarangi played by Kamal Sabri. The journey through the Deserts of India to the Desert of Egypt will continue with a dance duet of the different traditions- Belly dance and the Kalbelia Dance. The grand finale of the programme will have a combination of all musical instruments and dances and at the end they all come together on the stage for final presentation.

Organised by Ehsaas Foundation along with St Stephen Society, Agra in association with India Habitat Centre.
