GROUP DISCOUNTS: Rs.700/couple and Rs.300/person for groups of 4 or more. Children below 8 yrs are allowed free and we accept only 50% of our normal fees if enthusiastic Senior Citizens aged 60 & above join us.

Event Description : Delhi by Foot presents "Forts of Delhi After Rains - Tughlakabad Heritage Walk".

You must have passed these forts a thousand times while on the roads of South Delhi....going to Surajkund...to Badarpur...Batra Hospital...and what not...maybe always wondered about these massive stone walls as they stare down at you...but never ever did you get the opportunity to go inside the fort of Tughlaqabad, the oldest existing Fort Complex of Delhi, almost 700 yrs old...

After the rains (whatever limited amount we had!!) it is always a lot of fun to play "Adventurer" inside what we refer as the 'Green Ruins' of the 3rd City Fort of Tughlaqabad ...ruins of Palaces and Dungeons, Baolis of the 14th century fort beckon to you.. to these two silent sentinels, guarding Delhi from the south....as we recount to you the "Daastan-e-Tughlaqabad" and stories of empires & battles of a bygone era of the Delhi Sultanate....

A good opportunity for amateur photographers, heritage buffs and nature lovers of all age groups/children.
