Event Description : Ektara presents 'Appreciating Sufi Literature and Qawwali' A 2 day intensive workshop on the poetry and music of the Sufi Bhakti tradition of India.

The workshop will revolve around understanding the poetry and music of great Sufi Bhakti poet-
composers such as Amir Khusrau, Sant Kabir, Mirabai, Surdas, Malik Muhammad Jaisi, Bulleh Shah, Shah Hussain and Baba Farid.

Thursday, 24th July | 5 pm onwards: Heritage walk at Dargah Nizamuddin Auliya led by Sohail Hashmi

Saturday, 26th July | 10am - 6pm: Amir Khusrau & Sufism by Yousuf Saeed
Bhakti And Love In Classical Dance by Sneha Chakradhar

Sunday, 27th July | 10am - 6pm: Syncretic Symbolism In Sufi Bhakti Poetry by Dhruv Sangari
Punjabi Sufi Poetry And Music by Dr.Madan Gopal Singh
Concluding with a Sufi music concert
