Event Description : Behroopiya Entertainers In Association With Theatreact Presents Workshop ‘Discover Your Clown’
Clown Birth - We all have a hidden clown residing within us, during the workshop we will give abirth to your inner clown character through an organic method. The clown figure, in its pure form, bases itself precisely on the ‘human condition' on the fundamental paradox of life and death. In this way it engages and develops both the personal and professional aspects of the participant.

Play encourages the freedom of movement, speech and fantasy. It's a pre-requisite to the illogical,impulsive experience of creativity and essential to good performance. The workshop will take you
through a series of playful exercises to give you tools to build instant games with your
inmates, which can work as stress busters.


Here and Now is the fundamental necessity of any performative discipline. How can an innerimpulse of the participant find harmony with the impulses thrown at her/him from the co-workers or clients? The workshop is designed to provide tools for participants to make specific choices from the world of endless possibilities. By using contemporary clown principles, they will be able to work 'here and now' in their business environment.

Rupesh Tillu is an actor, director and independent film-maker, born in Mumbai India. He holds MFA in Physical Comedy from The National School of Dramatic Arts, Sweden. He has received several international theatre awards such as Outstanding Artist/Act- Stockholm Fringe Festival 2012, A Special Jury Award - Best of Prague Fringe Festival 2013 and many more.
