Friends Of Music (FOM), series of musical get together is back with another evening of mesmerizing music . It is an initiative by Teamwork Arts to revive the culture of enjoying a classic cocktail of good food and great music under moonlit evening with friends and family. 

Enjoy the enchanting  compositions of traditional music with the greatest exponent of sindhi sarangi  Lakha Khan and other soulful compositions of two very talented collaborative projects - The Aditya Narayan Collaborative and The Boom Shankar Project.  A musical soiree that will leave you spellbound.

Lakha Khan
Lakha Khan, 63 is a sarangi player and vocalist, and perhaps the greatest exponent of the sindhi sarangi from the Manganiyar community. Today, Lakhan Khan is perhaps one of the last remaining Manganiyars to have mastered this complex instrument and to carry forward the centuries old musical tradition of Rajasthani folk and Sufi music. He was the awarded the prestigious Sangeet Natak Academi award for his contribution to Rajasthani folk music in 2008. This living legend has peformed extensively across Rajasthan and India, and internationally in the U.S and Europe. He sings fluently in Sindhi, Punjabi, Hindi, Marwari and a variety of dialects. A showcase artist in 'Mitha Bol', this incredible musician has also been featured in The New York Times, BBC, NPR, Hindustan Times and The Indian Express.

The Aditya Narayan Collaborative - Aditya Narayan Collaborative was formed as a result of an urge to create new music with every track. Aditya constantly explores new sounds, genre, people and instruments through his music. 

Boom Shankar Project- Boom Shankar Project is a collaboration of musicians with different musical backgrounds and influence from India and around the globe exploring world music. Based out of Delhi, the group was founded by Rishabh Shankar in 2011. Their soulful compositions include Bhatiyali, Baul, Persian,Turkish, Jazz and a multitude of influences.
