Event Description : IGNCA book circle : A Chughtai Quartet : Obsession : The wild one, Wild Pigeons: The heart break free By Ismat Chughtai translated by Tahira Naqvi.
Ms Anju Gupta, Dir, Non Collegiate Women's Board will introduce the talk and read from the book. This will be followed by a discussion with Ms Sukrita Paul and Ms Rakshanda Jalil(subject Scholars).
This is the first of our monthly IGNCA Book circle which aims to open up the resources at the reference library . Exciting works of fiction, non-fiction and those of academic interest will be showcased through readings from the same followed by a discussion. The aim is to tap into the rich intellectual wealth of Delhi and the IGNCA and bridge the divide between the reader and writer in the wonderful setting on the IGNCA Library.
