'Radio Window to the Universe' a talk by Professor Jayaram N. Chengalur, National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, TIFR, Pune as part of The Science And Technology Lectures series. 

Radio Astronomy was the first of the new astronomies, and it continues to be an important tool for us to fully understand the processes that shape the universe that we observe today.  The talk will cover the current state of the art in Radio Astronomy, with special emphasis on the celestial phenomena that are best studied using radio telescopes. Most of the examples will be drawn from research done in India using the cutting edge facilities built by the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research
