As Delhi sheds its winter blues and Spring gives way to Summer, Mother Nature takes on hues and colors in the trees and plants of Delhi as you never see any other time of the year...

Red Gulmohur flowers, bright yellow Amaltaas and the orange flame of the forest flowers  light up the sky...and in the summery breeze you hear the Chulbul Bulbul and Koel play their music...

DelhiByFoot invites you to 'A Nature Heritage Walk' to promote awareness of the flora & fauna of Delhi in the 90-acre Lodhi Gardens where we will meet myriad giant ancient trees, hop along with variety of birds, move from flower to flower with the butterflies, listen to the bamboo trees make music as the sway in the gentle breeze and every other bounty & richness that mother nature shares with us in her monsoon fullness.

Learn about Delhi's natural wonders in a fun and delightful way this Saturday evening and experience the "out-of-this-world, spooky" feeling which envelopes the calming environs of Lodhi Gardens as the sun sets and these giant trees & monuments take on a different colour & life of their own...


The walk will be led by Jaya Iyer, well-known Delhi-based Naturalist, Environment Conservationist & Founder-member of Vividhara, a NGO that works with farmers in Uttarkhand to promote sustainable Organic Farming. This walk is the best opportunity for children, families, amateur photographers, nature-lovers & Dilli-heritage lovers to explore Delhi before the onset of hot summers.
