Event Description : 'The Subtle Hues' Solo show of paintings by Amita Gupta.

Amita had an adequate exposure to Art since childhood which enriched her thought process naturally, as those practices were part of daily life. She has been showcasing her works in several group shows and has participated in state level & National level shows, camps and solo exhibitions. 
Her concepts are inspired by real life experiences, human emotions, social issues and nature. She works in various mediums, especially watercolours & acrylics. Her experiments with texture have lead to the development of an individual style during a long creative journey. Humanity, life and nature have been her most favourite themes. She has been teaching Fine Arts since 1998. She is running ‘Creative Arts Institute’, an art school in Ludhiana , Punjab to promote various art forms (fine arts, vocal classical, Bharatanatyam, Western dance & guitar).
Amita believes that she lives through her art and colours. Her works are in various hotels (The Tea Lounge - Taj Palace, New Delhi, and others) & as private collections ( International Actor / Writer Nandana Sen , and others) .
