Event Description : In memory of late Madan Mahatta KNMA is convening a meeting.
A pioneering Figure in the world of Indian Photography, Madan Mahatta, Passed away on 6th March 2014 in New Delhi at the age of 82. Associated with the mahatta studios, one of the oldest and renowned photography studios in New Delhi, Mahatta is well known for his long term engagement with architectural photography. Ram Rahman, photographer and curator, who knew Mahatta and his body of works closely and Devika Daulat-Singh, Founder and Director, Photoink, a leading photography gallery, will talk about Mahatta's works currently on display in the exhibiton, 'KNMA Collection : An Unfinished Portrait' at the Noida Museum. KNMA is fortunate to have a substantial number of his works in its permanent collection
