Event Description : 'Ramaq – The Dance Of Filigree At Dusk' An exhibition of photographs by Aadil Jamal showcasing the intricate jaleework and its interplay with sunlight at Humayun's Tomb Complex.
Ramaq (the glow of the last few moments) is a series of photographs of the filigree work at Humayun's Tomb (Complex) in New Delhi clicked in the evening winter sun. What makes this collection interesting is that about a dozen images are of different patterns and shapes woven by the sunlight at the same location. There a couple of photographs from other lesser known monuments at Humayun’s tomb itself. Interestingly, this interplay of sunlight and stones can only be witnessed during the late winter evenings.
