The 2014 ISOLA conference will delve into the engagement of society with space through its representations in various disciplines across regions and scales.
We are delighted to host an eminent and diverse panel of speakers and panellists including theatre director Mr. Feisal Alkazi, environmentalist Dr. Vandana Shiva, historian Dr. Narayani Gupta, economist Prof. Amita Baviskar, architect Ms. Neera Adarkar, painter Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharya, urban designer Mr. Shyam Khandekar, cultural geographer Dr. Bret Wallach (USA), and landscape architects Mr. Kishore Pradhan, Prof. Mohammad Shaheer and Prof. Jan Woudstra (UK).
In addition to the technical sessions and panel discussions, the two day conference includes Perspectives by the illustrious poet Mr. Ashok Vajpeyi, leading architect Mr. Nimish Patel, lighting designer Mr. Abhay Wadhwa, an interactive light and sculpture installation by Mr. Vibhor Sugani, thematic Panorama presentations, and an exhibition of ISOLA award winners, as well as landscape architects’ professional works.
