True to its name this documentary-drama tries to explore the various phrases of the poet's life where he undergoes through changes in his religious beliefs. Rabindranath's life can be divided into six distinct phrases based on his religious thoughts. The documentary shows how the religious and philosophical imbibed together and influenced his works and in this process bring together certain episodes of the poet's life and how they shaped his final view towards humanity(and God).
The documentary traces Rabindranath's journey through various religious beliefs and how the poet ultimately found peace in the "Religion of man". This journey also signifies the intimate growth
