TAD Arts presents ‘Rajiv Puri-2014-Seasons’– an eclectic exhibition of landscape paintings – by Dubai-based, self-taught artist, Rajiv Puri, a chartered accountant by profession who is all set to showcase 30 oeuvres d’art.
The artist’s love for the woods and Nature herself has been beautifully captured in his oeuvres d’art that are resplendent with a visual story, where each chapter transports us to a world of mysticism that nature has, where each frame bathes in lush green landscapes and a myriad other shades of nature’s bounty.
A vibrant colour palette, comprising rich hues of oranges, reds, greens and more, his creations are inspired from Nature – its perpetual change, its fragility, its calm, its rhythm, its devotion, its wild but delicate form, its transient temper, its colour, its mood. ‘Rajiv Puri-2014-Seasons’ celebrates landscapes through metaphors and symbols. Rajiv Puri's representation and celebration is a panoramic view of the single wanderer which presents a brighter, wilder image.
Adds Niten Mehta, Director, TAD Arts, “Nature in all its splendor and varied expanse is captured on canvas, by the hand of this master of technique and nature lover – Rajiv Puri. Painting the seasons in a way that only he can, Puri brings to life vibrant colors with his trademark palette knife; each work signifying the phantasmagoric hues of nature. His canvas emulates the very essence of nature in its multi-dimensional and multi-layered quality. Puri often leads us to the unknown but in this enchanting and mesmerizing walk in the woods, one is wrapped in a cocoon of calm even at the deepest and darkest end. The idea was to get the audience to develop a sense of pride and belonging with their habitat and travel in a journey through the seasons while we realize how a TAD bit goes a long way, there are small things we do every day, which can make all the difference.”
