Event Description : Release function of Book on Ajanta: Handbook of Paintings by Prof. Dieter Schlingloff, senior German scholar and an acclaimed authority on Buddhism . Prof. Himanshu Prabha Ray, Chairperson NMAI will release the book. The book launch will be followed by a symposium on the book.

Books on Ajanta and prints of Ajanta paintings from the IGNCA Collection will also be displayed.
