Wow so interesting and fun it must have been! I enjoy visiting buddhist temples and monasteries. I have even visited the key gompa in Himachal Pradesh which was a lovely experience. I think all their rituals are wonderful and I love lighting incense in my house and conducting some of their meditation and prayers. It is always Cycle Pure's woods incense since it creates a such a blissful yet exotic environment.
