Event Description : 'Face to Face' A dance theatre dialogue between Sita and Draupadi by Jyotsna Shourie's Dance Centre.
The production innovatively blends Bharatanatyam, with English dialogues, and draws inspiration from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. While the situations are factual, the conversations between the women are purely fictional, and seen from Sita and Draupadi's perspective. Right from their miraculous births till their sad demise the drama unfolds, through dance, dialogue and the lilting voice of well known Carnatic musician O.S. Arun.
