Event Description : The Blind Relief Association presents the annual Diwali Bazar.


Diwali Bazar has established itself as a popular cultural event in Delhi drawing thousands of visitors. It is a very important event to us as it brings our Association closer to the society, besides generating financial resource for the diverse activities of our Association.  It provides us the opportunity to showcase the abilities of the persons with visual impairment being educated and trained by us in diverse skills.  The brisk sale of the large variety of candles and paper products made by our trainees and workers testifies that. 

Besides the Association's Stall, which is a major centre of attraction at the Diwli Bazar, over 200 stalls put up by designers, craftpersons and other vendors attract discerning buyers.  The Association also provides free space to scores of non-government organizations working for the welfare of persons with disabilities and other needy sections of society to sell their products and inform the public about their activities.
