Event Description : 'Divinity' An Exhibition of paintings by artist Vibha Singh.
Having been in the field of art for more than two decades, Vibha finds ,

Art as something that emerges out of an interaction of the artist’s intellect and subconscious with technical means and skill at one’s disposal. Vibha’s paintings transcend a new paradigm related to wider world context. Her Visual forms interplay with abstract concepts and figurative which have roots in the surrounding culture and look to the new millennium. After her successful ‘Raga’ and ‘Ganesha’ series, Vibha has dedicated this exhibition ‘DIVINITY ‘  in its distinguishing characteristics. These paintings capture the specific atmosphere of spirituality- the rising consciousness with half opened eyes of Shiva are portrayed in a wide spectrum of colours ranging from earthy to vivid. The spiritual atmosphere is heightened by depiction of allegorical symbols of bells, temple, lotus etc which also skillfully divide the space. These compositions infuse a feeling of mystical aroma.

For Vibha the process of translating her thoughts on the canvas is a spiritually uplifting experience right from the deliberate conceptualization of the symbols & colours to painting her abstracts, semi-abstracts ,be it Krishna, Ganesha, Shiva or  Buddha. Her works grace private collections of exporters and interior decorators in India and abroad.
