Event Description : Tiger Paw Sports Film Festival 2013.
It is an attempt to bring to India a sports film festival where film and documentary makers get an opportunity to show case their films on various aspects and of different sporting disciplines. There would be various categories in the film festival and submissions would be received from all corners of the world. Each category would have five nominations and finally there would be a winner with the second and third also getting a mention with silver and a bronze Tiger Paw. Apart from the submissions, there would also be 4-6 special screenings of acclaimed sports films/documentaries followed by a discussion. During the three-day festival, there would be talks given by eminent documentary makers on the challenges of making a sports documentary.
In all, the Tiger Paw Sports Film Festival brings to life sports stories told visually by documentary and film makers.
