Event Description : "Making Cultural Archives Meaningful: Why and How" An Interaction with Pratik Joshi.
Pratik Joshi taught history and journalism at University of Delhi for a number of years before becoming a media professional in the US. He has worked as an associate producer for Hubbard Broadcasting, and as a news writer for daily papers owned by the former Knight-Ridder Group and McClatchy Corp. He’s currently a business writer for Tiger Oak Media. Pratik has made four video documentaries. His “Living With Clams,” a film about freshwaster mussels, got an award from the Northwest Broadcast News Association while he was a student at the University of Minnesota. He’s interested in analysing the process of social change both in India and globally using a multidisciplinary approach.
