'MAYA', based on the Jataka tale, talking about Buddha's birth written by late prof. krishnamoorthy of Carlton University, canada, was choreographed as a monoballet by komala
The opening item is on Ganesha. A Todaya Mangalam by Sarfoji Maharaj, the marathi ruler who ruled Tanjore, which sounds almost like Sanskrit.
'Jhoolat Radha Sang Giridhara' - A Meera Bhajan where Komala's depiction of
the swing has been praised a lot is one of the items.
