Event Description : Sehar presents 'Launda Badnaam Hua' Hindi Play. 
The play is a solo live musical performance based on a story of a performer of a folk from of Bihar called Launda Naach. The performer faced a lot of criticism and prejudice from his family and society for his choice of profession. Launda Naach is a traditional dance form of Bihar, which in due course of time, came to be seen as a lowly art form. This production expresses its angst against this attitude of society who doesn’t mind giving undue prestige to meaningless elite art activities but finds no time and interest in appreciating our tradition, instead overrules it in the name of profaneness. This performance serves the purpose of showcasing the plight of such artists and criticism which is let lose on them despite their complete and honest devotion to our tradition.
