Event Description : Art shows for the week are as follows :

1. Exhibition of Paintings, Digital Art & Photographs by Kaushik Gupta.

2. Exhibition of Photographs by Sushma Sharma.

3. Exhibition of Paintings by Advait Kumar Singh.
The unique thing about this exhibition is that all the artists are siblings. They are the offspring of
late Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, renowned artist and Ex-Head, department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, B.H.U. They had the privilege to meet and see the work of most of the known artists, and been inspired since childhood.
Rekha Singh, the eldest among all three artists, though have not had any formal training or degree in painting had learnt at home and started doing miniatures in wash-tempera technique, she loves Pahari miniature style. ‘Virahini’, ‘Prem-sandesh’ , ‘Shringaar’, ‘Kanduk-krida’ are some of her works.

Advait Kumar Singh had done M.F.A. in Painting from B.H.U. and specialized in Portrait painting.
He had done a number of compositions too and worked in almost all the mediums but he
loves to paint in Oil colors. At present he is doing Ph.D. in Painting from Faculty of Visual Arts,
B.H.U. ‘Nihang’, ‘Father & son’, ‘Potter’, ‘Sadhu’,
Reva Singh, the youngest of three, had done M.F.A. in Textile Design from B.H.U. She worked in other mediums but she loves to do Batik painting. She also experimented with wood dust & threads her “Bala ji” is a beautiful example of this.

4. Memorabilia of Historical Murshidabad Through Ages' an exhibition of paintings by Salil Das.
