Event Description : 'In Search of a New World' an exhibition of paintings by Pradeep Kumar Patra.
Standing spell-bound in front of a pictorial drama it tempts me to speak a few words about what I grasped from. No doubt it is a happy meeting ground, the echoes of man, animal and nature where they stand is a promising attitude to recall the past glory and in search of an immutable art. The animal world certainly
gives a new passage for generation of power, happiness and beauty. In a time, man, normally, did not find any difference between man and animal. The co-operation and friendship were very cordial and significant. As such, the world culture especially in ancient world did encompass more on single vocabulary.
Even countries like China, Egypt, Assyria, Summeria and India have explored the animal world in their creative art justifying their ecological, social, and cultural values.
