Event Description : 'Przesłuchanie (Interrogation)' screening of the Film on Women’s Empowerment. 
A film about false imprisonment under the pro-Soviet Polish regime in the early 1950s. Tonia, the singer goes out partying. She wakes up in prison, not having a clue why she's there. She is tortured to encourage her to confess to a crime she did not commit. Due to its anti-oppression theme, the Polish communist government banned the film from public viewing for over seven years, until the 1989 dissolution of the Eastern Bloc. Krystyna Janda (Tonia) won the award for Best Actress at 1990 Cannes Film Festival. Film nominated for the Palme d'Or.
