An inquiry trail from a crumbling stone temple whose pieces are strewn around a hillside near Almora most surprisingly leads to the hot, dusty village of Asoda in North Gujarat where a temple identical in plan, elevation and ornament stands in a better preserved condition
Second in a series of lectures which will address the shifting social, symbolic and cultural contexts of monuments, and identify current uses of sites and potential issues in their conservation
