About the artists :
Smt. Padmini Rao, Classical Vocalist:
Academically, Padmini is a graduate in Chemistry with honours from the University of Bombay, where she was a rank holder (1981). Thereafter, she completed her post-graduation in music with distinction from the SNDT University Bombay, bagging a number of honours in the process, including the Gana Hira Award for musical excellence (1984).

Murad Ali Khan, Sarangi:
Born in a family of musicians originally from Muradabad, Murad Ali is a sixth generation sarangi player. The intensive training he had under his grandfather Ustad Siddique Ahmad Khan and father Ustad Ghulam Sabir Khan has stood him in good stead, and he is presently regarded as one of the leading sarangi players of the younger generation.

Fateh Ali Khan, Sitar:
Fateh Ali Khan is a well known name in sitar in the world of Indian classical music. He has taken his music all over India and also around the world. He created a new story in his book of success when he performed with Lady Gaga recently in India. He is a Sitar player of the Band who recreates the music into magic.
