Event Description : 'Osheanic Musings' a painting exhibition by Rashmi Khurana.
Rashmi Khurana, Delhi based artist, has been painting for almost a decade. Having 
worked as a businesswoman for many years, she finally decided in 2004 to give her 
'self ' the due attention and mind-space it deserved. 
An avid traveller and sufi meditator, Rashmi has had the exposure and experience of 
working with national and international artists. It is through this interaction with 
various artists and surroundings that her skills as a painter have evolved. Her work 
depicts the fusion of her inner self with the universe, bringing out an interesting 
combination of colours and textures. 
To this effect she says, 'Most of my paintings are impressions of my observations 
that I express using  vibrant colours and bold strokes with brushes, knives, hands 
and fingers.'
*  This exhibition,  in  part,  is  inspired  by  Rashmi's  recent experience  with  the 
philosophy professed by Osho.
