Event Description : Commemoration of World Leprosy Day.
The event will host cultural performances coupled with addresses by key dignitaries- Mr. Dinesh Trivedi (Member of Parliament),  Madhu Goud Yakshi (Member of Parliament) and Prof. M. S. Swaminathan (the father of Leprosy Eradication Program in India).

There will be a stellar cultural performance by children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The performance aims to generate awareness and sensitise citizens about the rights of people with disability. Ms. Devika Anand Puri will be choreographing and directing the act.

Devika has been working with the less privileged children of Gurgaon and Delhi in Theatre and Dance. She has done her O and A Levels in Theatre at the British school after which she went on to study at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City where she trained as an actor, dancer and a singer for Broadway.
